Project Description

The Ranger’s Apprentice was a favorite book of mine as a child, so I felt compelled to make a book cover. The book is a dark-fantasy coming-of-age story that has edgy elements. In order to encapsulate that, I used to contrast and dark blues to create a very edgy and tense appearance. I also used serif fonts and silver colors to really emphasize the fantasy aspect of the book's world. All elements are very balanced and were placed with printing and cutting in mind. The end product turned out wonderful and I would be more than happy to show this to the author themself.
